1. Accounts
You need an account for most activities on our platform, including to purchase courses. When setting up and maintaining your account, you must provide and continue to provide accurate and complete information, including a valid email address and phone number. You have complete responsibility for your account and everything that happens on your account, including for any harm or damage (to us or anyone else) caused by someone using your account without your permission. This means you need to be careful with your password.
You may not transfer your account to someone else or use someone else’s account. You must notify us immediately upon learning that someone else may be using your account without your permission (or if you suspect any other breach of security) by contacting our Support Team. If you contact us to request access to an account, we will not grant you such access unless you can provide us with the information that we need to prove you are the owner of that account. In the event of the death of a user, the account of that user will be closed.
Only parents and legal guardians of at least 18 years of age may create an account on SReading and use our Services. Users under the age of 18 may have an account created on their behalf by a parent or legal guardian. If we discover that you have created an account that violates these rules, we may terminate your account without warning. Note that use of our website is not available to any users who have been previously removed from our website, or who’s usage is not in compliance with all applicable laws.
You can terminate your account at any time by contacting support@sreading.org. Please clearly indicate your intent to delete your account in your communication with us. Check our Privacy Policy to see what happens when you terminate your account.
2. User Content
2.1 Prohibited Content
On our Services, you may upload and share texts, as well as access texts uploaded by others. You may not upload texts which includes or links to Prohibited Content, which we define as anything that is deliberately misleading; advocates for drugs or other forms of illegal activity; contains unnecessary violence or obscene language; is racially or ethnically offensive; or contains material that infringes upon copyright status.
Note that material which is no longer under copyright can be freely uploaded without infringing copyright status. For example, many classic texts are no longer under copyright. However, in those cases, we strongly recommend you still give credit to the original creator(s) of the text by providing the author field.
SReading has the sole discretion to determine whether user content is Prohibited Content, and such content may be edited or deleted at any time with or without notice.
2.2 Content Visibility
As of currently, your uploaded content can only be private or unlisted. This means that your content can be shared via a link but is not readily searchable by other users.
This will very likely change in the future when we incorporate a process for allowing users to publish public content which is readily searchable by other users.
